The experiment was simple: take one good armchair and move it, a week at a time, through every room of a small apartment. Photograph each room before and after. See what changes.
In the living room, the chair created a second conversation area, turning one large space into two. In the bedroom, it became a reading corner and a place to drop clothes, mostly the latter. In the kitchen, it was a surprise hit: somewhere to sit with coffee while dinner cooked.
The lesson is that a room is defined less by its furniture count than by the activities it invites. One chair placed with intent can create a whole new use for a space.
